Fahiru

Naming, strategy, and brand identity for a new female casual apparel brand.

Fahiru, an exquisite fashion label exclusively designed for women, emerged onto the scene in 2023. With an unwavering dedication to creating casual yet sophisticated attire for the modern-day young women, especially the vibrant Gen Zs, Fahiru has quickly become a symbol of elegance and style.

To captivate its target audience, we collaborated closely with the visionary founders to ingeniously concoct a name that seamlessly blends their individual identities while incorporating elements from their names.

After thorough research, it was clear to us what brand voice would align with the brand’s goals and mission, which was, in summary, to be perceived as a classy brand for young women that portrays quality, confidence, and versatility.

The Process:

The process involved key aspects of branding such as crafting a befitting logo, color scheme, typography, positioning, tone of voice, and social media presence.

Based on the founder’s preference the primary logo style is a combination logo that is eye-catching, with a sketch of a woman on a hat wearing a sharp red lipstick, to convey boldness and class. The logo is supported by the ‘Abril Fat Face’ typeface which is boldly and elegantly marked across the bottom of the image in a circle, and a clear-cut typeface for the tagline.

Apart from the primary logo, we created a secondary logo, sub-mark logo, and favicon that aligns with the primary logo to be used in different formats for social media profiles, business cards, social media profile images, website footer, mobile website header, and other important placements.

A simple color scheme consisting of a primary dark brown hue, and white, spells out a sense of allure for the overall feel of the brand identity.

Visuals are designed to show the brand’s versatile and comfortable qualities while showcasing the design, fit, and characteristics of the products.

We worked closely with the founders of Fahiru at every stage of the project, gaining a deep understanding of the brand’s vision and needs for both the short and long term. By refining the brand’s clarity and building confidence, we provided the tools needed for a successful launch while positioning ourselves as a trusted partner in their growth journey.
